Who We Are...

Currently owned by the 3rd generation, Mayo Knitting Mill was established in 1932 by  brothers Columbus and Benjamin Mayo.  Along with their knitting mill, the Mayo family also has acres of farmland growing cotton and peanuts.  The Mayo family has long been active in the Tarboro, N.C. community, a quaint, and friendly town about 90 miles east of Raleigh, N.C.  Ben Mayo III is current president with his cousins C.W. Mayo IV and Bryan Mayo as the two vice-presidents.
